In The Studio With Alex Ross

Painting "Wonder Woman"

In 2000, Wild Chicago, a magazine show on the local PBS station, ran a segment on Alex Ross. In it, Alex talks about his background, influences, working style and future plans. Additionally he is seen working in his home studio on a portrait of Wonder Woman, created especially for the show to demonstrate his technique.

In the final edited segment, the demonstration appears only briefly. However, when the producers of the show learned I had acquired this piece from Alex, they were kind enough to send me unedited camera rushes, from which I constructed these two short video sequences.
